When COVID-19 Disrupts, Disrupt Back! Businesses Need To Prioritize Their Employees Now More Than Ever

By MW Experiences

We hope everyone is safe and doing your best to practice #SocialDistancing etiquette. What a time… there’s so much on our minds right now, including the health and safety of our loved ones and the impact on our businesses and livelihood. By now, it’s reasonable to conclude that the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, and its impact, isn’t going away anytime soon. Entire business models across the globe have been disrupted, and although many employees are now following #ShelterAtHome orders, that doesn’t mean businesses have to “shelter” too. On the contrary, disrupt right back!

Prioritize Employees

One of the ways we’re helping our clients “disrupt back” during this global pandemic is by working with their teams. We’re fortunate to work with many businesses all over the globe on their team building objectives, whether it’s motivating sales personnel, helping a team bond,  supporting marketing activities, and more. Indeed, destination and off-site events are on pause for the foreseeable future, but that doesn’t mean businesses can’t get creative, have fun, and still reward their employees. With staff facing new, unprecedented pressure from isolating at home and other economic factors, it’s imperative, perhaps now more than ever, that businesses make it a priority to invest in their team.

Get creative. Re-invent. Disrupt back!

With the emphasis on digital, technology is our friend. Host a streaming party, organize workshops, setup sub-committees that embrace and encourage honest feedback from all areas of your business. Even as budgets get cut, these are just a few things businesses can do online to support their teams, boost morale, and build on their skillsets. With some creativity, businesses can still deliver a special experience for their employees, something they’ve never seen before or didn’t know existed, while still keeping a keen eye on the bottom line.

“Tough times never last, but tough people do.” – Robert H. Schuller

We’re confident that the in-person hospitality experience will return eventually, stronger than ever. In the meantime, businesses can use this opportunity to develop their digital team building toolbox and come out stronger. It’s our people that will help us get through this pandemic together.

At MW Experiences, we are committed to creating unique, one-of-a-kind experiences through the emotional connections and positive impact we have with our partners. We exist to create and deliver value to our partners by building their brand through epic experiences.
