The Women of Bali Come Together For a Special Cause

MW Experiences joined forces with Bali Bond and Bali Black Book to bring together an amazing group of women in support of the local community

Last week MW Experiences partnered up with Bali Bond and Bali Black Book to host a special Beauty x Style event to help raise proceeds for the Bali Street Mums Project; an organization that strives to provide desperately needed resources, including shelter, clothing, education, basic health care and food, to impoverished women in Bali, Indonesia. Our team at MW Experiences is truly passionate about giving back to the community and helping make a difference one step at a time.

 

Women from all different backgrounds came together on a Sunday for good conversations, Afternoon Tea delights provided by Folie Bali, free flow Rosé and a fun shopping experience in our very own pop-up market, all in support of Bali Street Mums Project and local businesses as well. Each guest walked away with a special goody bag filled with product samples and special vouchers from our event sponsors Estee Lauder, Spring Spa, Bali Balance, The Crystal Boutique, AQUA Lestari, Several Needs, Bunga Seni Beauty, The Mask Society, Paperclip People, XO Active, Jet Black Ginger, Colors Canggu Spa, Ini-Itu, Bronze Spa Bali and The Good Food Brotherhood. We of course took precaution given the pandemic, by limiting capacity to 30 attendees and ensuring a spaced out seating arrangement and limit of 4 guests per table.

With many parts of the world beginning to think about traveling (safely) once again, we thought we’d take a look back at one of our most memorable incentive experiences.

Our clients may have a concept in mind when planning their incentive program, but it’s up to us at MW Experiences to take that idea and go above and beyond anything they could have imagined. The first two questions we always ask ourselves are, “If we were the guests attending this program, would the experience blow us away? Would it be an unforgettable memory that lasts a lifetime?” If the answer is no to either of these questions, then we continue exploring different ideas until the answer becomes yes and yes!

Last year we were approached with a client request for a unique luxury experience. While we could’ve easily pitched any top-rated luxury resort, hotel or yacht, we wanted to take it a step further and pitch an ultimate, luxury glamping experience. We put together a program where guests stayed in beautiful luxury tents and private pavilions with scenic views and a personal butler. What can beat being out in nature, with a private chef curating customized menus, while sleeping under the stars and having a butler to call on when you need something?

In addition, competitive fun-natured team-building activities created some of the best memorable moments. Not to mention the never-ending bragging rights! Cookouts paired with strategy meetings on historical private islands and line dancing lessons with live bands were just a few of the experiences scheduled, making it an epic week to remember.

When COVID-19 Disrupts, Disrupt Back! Businesses Need To Prioritize Their Employees Now More Than Ever

We hope everyone is safe and doing your best to practice #SocialDistancing etiquette. What a time… there’s so much on our minds right now, including the health and safety of our loved ones and the impact on our businesses and livelihood. By now, it’s reasonable to conclude that the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, and its impact, isn’t going away anytime soon. Entire business models across the globe have been disrupted, and although many employees are now following #ShelterAtHome orders, that doesn’t mean businesses have to “shelter” too. On the contrary, disrupt right back!

One of the ways we’re helping our clients “disrupt back” during this global pandemic is by working with their teams.
